If the issue is that the Sonicwall is not listening on an IP in the routed subnet, you could try something hacky like adding a VLAN subinterface to X2, put it in Zone WAN and assign an IP to it from the routed subnet. In firewall logs it shows user has log out automatically. I also discovered that if I changed the VPN adapter settings to Home/Office (was previously marked as Public), Stealth Mode OFF and Generic YES, to match my regular network adapter, I can also connect. I have a network wire running from one of the NICs on my remote server to a SonicWall interface (I can connect via VPN & remote in as long as I manually set the IP address on my VPN Network Configuration).
